The time of holiday gift-giving is upon us again. First, let me acknowledge all those who have given me the greatest present of all, a warm welcome to the adventure of blogging.<\/p>\n
Every day has been a continuing adventure. I never know what I am going to write about until inspiration strikes, and then I cannot rest until I have uploaded my thoughts into this weblog. <\/p>\n
Far too often, this occurs in the wee hours of the morning, but I am truly blessed with a wife who is a treasure. When I wake up with a start and head off to my computer, all I get is a sleepy, “Go for it, dear.” Gretchen has encouraged me from the beginning and has now started finding topics for me to write about.\n<\/p>\n
\nI have received so much of great value from my extended family of webloggers that it is hard to single out individual instances of help and encouragement. However there are a few people who have been unusually helpful: <\/p>\n
