These are from Thomas Jefferson&#8217;s gardens at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.monticello.org\/\">Monticello<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He gathered plants and trees from all over the world to grace the home which he designed and built on top of a mountain south of Charlottesville, VA. His home is a national treasure and is well worth a visit. Great care has been taken to restore all buildings and gardens to their original splendor. <br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/ripples.typepad.com\/ripples\/Monticello-28.html\" onclick=\"window.open('http:\/\/ripples.typepad.com\/ripples\/Monticello-28.html','popup','width=625,height=503,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Monticello-28\" src=\"http:\/\/ripples.typepad.com\/ripples\/Monticello-28-thumb.JPG\" width=\"450\" height=\"362\" border=\"0\" align=\"left\" vspace=\"20\" \/><\/a><br clear=\"all\"><\/p>\n<p>I have also created a new <a href=\"http:\/\/ripples.typepad.com\/photos\/monticello\/\">photo album<\/a> to try and capture more of the peace and tranquility of Monticello. <\/p>\n<p>I hope these images evoke memories of warmth and sunlight for you.
