The performance from Dec 20 is available to watch on Medici.tv:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.medici.tv\/en\/operas\/cinderella-alma-deutscher-american-premiere\/\">https:\/\/www.medici.tv\/en\/operas\/cinderella-alma-deutscher-american-premiere\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I watched, spellbound, at a performance that brought tears to my eyes again and again. The intensity and the power that Alma Deutscher conjures up has to be seen to be believed.<\/p>\n<p>Her version of the Cinderella story stands on its own with a sweep of emotions ranging from calculated cruelty to tender love ballads to moments of delightful mischief.<\/p>\n<p>Alma wrote this when she was 11 years old.
