On this planet, at least, we are surrounded by discarnate (disembodied) spirits no matter where we go. Depending on your awareness, these spirits make themselves known through telepathic communication, mental image pictures, and waves of emotion. These spirits are the source of voices in your head and those pesky thoughts that won’t go away. These spirits are disembodied sources of life force, and people in good shape seem to perceive this life force.
We make our way through time and space, and we drag along with us a collection of spirits who have attempted to overwhelm us and whom we have overwhelmed. Almost every act of creation has bound us inextricably to other beings. Those who sought a unity with us are still powering our dreams and everyday activities. Those who sought revenge or retribution are plastered on us like barnacles, slowing our progress and disrupting the harmony of our existence.
Most of the spiritual work that has been done up to now has been spent handling troubled beings who still have attention on past incidents and are disrupting our lives. Very little effort is spent on validating the beings who help us.
They are all immortal beings, just like you and I, except that they have had a rougher time of it than you have. We know this because they can no longer bring themselves to run and manage bodies. They are as real as anything else in this universe, and they contribute to your life in proportion to the responsibility you can take for them. You cannot escape them, so you need to learn how to utilize their special skills to achieve your goals in life. As a trained engineer, I view spirits as the ultimate resource for getting things done as well as the most pervasive barrier to success if they are not properly managed. As a spiritual researcher, I found the key to working with spirits was understanding they are like us, and they are willing to help us if properly motivated.
Our spiritual companions include the entire group of spirits who follow on our heels, attracted by the commotion we create with our lives. They drift in and out of our lives and add flavor to our personalities with their competing intentions and purposes. If we are driven to create with a higher purpose in mind, we attract spirits who have similar purposes. If we seek sensations, we attract spirits who pander to those sensations, and our lives become a search for more and more sensations. Since these spirits all possess life force, they can be a tremendous resource for us and help us achieve our mutual goals if we manage them well. Managing spirits is a skill that can be learned and a team of spirits working in harmony is a beautiful thing to see. It is also extremely rewarding for all concerned, both for us and for the spirits who choose to work with us. One of our first steps to achieving greater ability is to recognize those spirits who have similar goals to ours and to welcome them as Spiritual Teammates.
Spiritual Teammates are those beings who have decided to help us in some way, and they make contributions that make our lives effortless in some cases. These spirits have been a part of our history for a very long time and have been known by many different names. Some of the names you may already know, such as guardian angels, spirit guides, spiritual teammates, etc. Every culture has names for those spirits who seem to protect and guide us.
A guardian angel is considered to be a spirit who is assigned to protect and guide a particular person, group, or nation. Belief in such beings can be traced throughout all antiquity. Some people believe that their particular angel is a spiritual being who looks out for their well-being, while others believe their guardian angel is a deceased loved one who is offering guidance.
A spirit guide, in western spiritualism, is an entity that remains as a discarnate spirit to act as a guide or protector to a living incarnated human being. Spirit guides communicate with us through telepathy during meditation, dreams, and thoughts. I have known mediums who rely on their spirit guides to help them in their work.
In the last few years, I have become keenly aware of spirits who have been helping me, and I now call them Spiritual Teammates because their support has enabled me to produce results far beyond my capacity as a solo producer. They monitor my efforts as a counselor and as an author, and they provide me with information on a continuing basis that multiplies my efforts tenfold.
I have been aware of spirits for the past 45 years but was never really aware of how some spirits were actually helping me. I could sense when spirits were opposing me, but when I was successful, I thought it was because of my own efforts. My earlier years in Scientology led to this mistaken belief because they ignore other spirits except as a source of trouble. They do not consider spirits as demons like the Catholic Church does, but they consider discarnate spirits to be degraded beings called Body Thetans which must be exorcised by special counseling rituals called the OT Levels.
After years of delivering spiritual counseling to others, I was surprised to hear from one of my clients that a spirit I was busily driving off was actually trying to help her! It was hurting her in the process, but its intention was to help her. This revelation started me looking for ways in which I could encourage more beings to help us and eventually ended with my understanding of the true role of the beings who have been trying to help us.
Almost every successful person is aware of times they have been given spiritual support, even if they do not recognize the source. Spiritual Rescue Technology recognizes the many roles that spirits play in our lives. Those who study this technology can use my new book to turn spiritual companions into trusted Spiritual Teammates.
Basically, we teach you to communicate with your spiritual companions in a caring way and bring them into present time, and see if they are interested in the projects you are working on. If they are interested, you acknowledge them as Spiritual Teammates and get them to participate in projects that hold their interest. As you work on these projects, you let them organize themselves into whatever teams they prefer as the projects develop.
