Many of you are aware of the fact that you have a bunch of spirit guides and possibly demons who are constantly with you. You attract them by the things you choose to do with your life.
If you have devoted your life to a creative existence, you will tend to pull in spiritual beings who are interested in such creations. On the other hand, if you are spending a lot of your time delving into sensual activities, you are attracting spirits who are enthusiastically helping you participate in these activities.
Since most of us participate in a wide range of activities, we attract spirits who are eager to participate in those activities. Those of us who devour the drivel put out by the mainstream media attract beings who thrive on violence and senseless brutality, and other forms of perversion. If you doubt this, try skipping your morning wallow in the daily news for a few days and see how much calmer you feel.
You may consider it your duty to be well-informed about what our political leaders are doing, but you are paying a price for that information. Most of the news out of Washington DC makes a decent person want to hurl, even when it is presented in a balanced fashion, which is rare. Your spiritual companions get very upset when you root through the daily garbage because they have unresolved conflicts and past deaths that get triggered with your daily reading. Once you stir up some past incidents, the effects can last for days.
It is not just the sex and violence that you should avoid. You should be careful of the sympathy stories about lost children and abused animals. These arouse emotions that are slow to disappear because we and our spirits have many sad incidents which have never been completely handled.
I am not suggesting that you completely ignore the terrible things that are happening every day, just that you should note enough to make sure you are not in the middle of it and put your attention on people and things that are making life better in some way.
You attract spiritual companions through the things you do and pay attention to. If you put your attention on helping others and improving your skills, your personal demons who thrive on lust and destruction will get bored and find entertainment elsewhere. If you live a virtuous life and still keep your secret vices, your demon buddies will be happy to stick with you and encourage you to do more evil things.
If you feel you have nothing to worry about, just think of those things that you do not want anyone else to know about. These are the activities that keep you well supplied with nasty spiritual companions. If you really want to live well and enjoy life to the fullest, concentrate on helping others and improving your abilities to do creative things. If you keep getting urges that stop you from improving your life, get some spiritual counseling and handle the beings who don’t want you to succeed.
