Fantasy Fiction Opens The Door To Past Life Memories

When you write fantasy fiction you may stir up memories you never experienced before. I was inspired to write a story about Prometheus titled, “Second Chance” and it opened up past life memories that weren’t even mine!

I discovered this when I started writing a story about Prometheus returning to the island of Crete. After a slow start of him visiting a temple he had known during his earlier existence, he was cruising the island and discovered a servant who was being beaten to death by his owner for making a mistake during a trade mission to the southern coast of Crete.

Prometheus did a walk-in and took over the body of the servant and dispatched the brutal owner with his own staff. Prometheus then takes over the trade mission and has all sorts of magical encounters. The saga continued with an adventurous tour of the southern coast of Crete and ended with the eruption of Santorini and its secret alien observation base.

The story practically wrote itself as I kept getting images of places on Crete and of the characters encountered in the story. These images were as vivid as any of my personal experiences this lifetime. After a while, I realized they were past life experiences from my years of doing spiritual counseling in Scientology, and I was eager to see what the island looked like now.

My wife suggested that I go to Crete so I could get some local color and describe what the landscape looked like. I went to Crete and hired a guide for three weeks and covered the route I had described in my story. The mountainous landscape is impressive as ever but the heavy forests had been gone for thousands of years. At that time in 2001, I had no experience with past life explorations and had no realistic expectations of what I would find.

To my surprise, Crete had tilted to the north since the time of my story and the deep harbors I had seen and described in my story had been transformed into dry canyons opening onto beaches with small rivers running through them. I had used a map of Crete when writing the story and had populated the coves and harbors with features that were remarkably similar to what I saw when I visited them later in person.

I finally realized I was not crafting a memorable saga with important lessons to be learned, I was simply recalling a host of unrelated memories about Crete and people who had lived and died there. What was more interesting is that these memories were not all from the same era and this made the resulting story impossible to follow as a reader. That is why I never published the story. I was simply transcribing a series of conversations with different spirits who had memories of that period in time.

The alien base on Santorini had no logical connection with Prometheus and his visit to Crete. The memory just came up when writing a story about the island and noticing that the island had tipped so the historical harbors were now dry beaches.

What this meant for me is that I would do better to stick to non-fiction and report on my conversations with spirits. Trying to write fiction demanded more control of the narrative than I was willing to exert. It appears that when I write fiction, I am presented with graphic images and narratives that are riveting in the extreme but are not necessarily connected to each other. For me, writing imaginative fiction is like opening a box of old and unrelated images and trying to piece together a coherent story with a plot.

If a writer is trained in plot development and storytelling, they may be able to construct a tale without the story trying to write itself. I now have a better idea of what a writer means when they say a character can get away from them and starts doing things the writer never intended.

On the other hand, someone writing short fantasy stories can open their imaginations and let the memories flow. I see this past life memory phenomena when I look at some of the DUST videos. They may be strange, but they come across as being very real.

Spiritual counseling unearths past life memories as the early Dianeticists found out. As James Hollingsworth reports; “The “Weapon Shops” series by Van Vogt was my favorite series when I was young. My Dad met him at a dinner/conference years ago.” Using Dianetic auditing for getting SF stories was considered an overt by the Scn community at the time.

The more science fiction you read and write, the more past life experiences come to mind. If you can get comfortable with that idea, you can train yourself to recognize them when they appear. Past life experiences are like any experiences, you can learn from them if you wish to avoid repeating them.

In the intervening years since that first literary attempt, I have learned to communicate with spirits in a more meaningful way and have used that ability to write about our relationship with our spiritual companions and how they function as the inspiration for our writing and other creative efforts.

My Ideal Scene As A Spiritual Counselor

My Ideal Scene as a spiritual counselor is to make people happy so they will survive better. There are specific reasons why people are unhappy, and chronically ill, and if a person can be acquainted with these reasons and change them, their future can be changed for the better.

If someone or something in your environment disapproves of what you are or what you are doing, your survival is threatened. Ignoring this disapproval will not make it go away. You need to handle this counter-intention or disconnect entirely from the source in order to flourish and prosper. An unfriendly environment does not aid your survival.

You may be in the wrong place. Your ideas my not be acceptable in your current location, Your religion, race, gender, skin color, or health may not be appropriate for your current situation because they trigger emotional responses that threaten your survival.

The people who disapprove of you are not necessarily evil. They can have personal or past experiences that make it difficult to see any value in your continuing existence. If you can change what you are doing that triggers their negative responses, you can possibly handle the opposition to your presence.

If their disapproval is based on factors you have no control over, you are better off disconnecting from them and their group and finding people more like yourself.

If you are unhappy or chronically ill, contact me for a free session in which I will help you locate the real source of your problem and work out a lasting solution to the threats to your survival. If the lasting solution involves teaching you the skills to prevent this from ever happening again, we can arrange counseling sessions to prevent this from ever happening again.

Send me an email at srtcounseling@gmail.com and we can schedule your free session to see what’s really happening and what can be done about it.

Are you being careful of what you say or do?

Does that sound like an optimum way to live? It would appear that you are in a situation where your ideas are not appreciated, and that does not sound like it aids your survival.

Either you have found yourself in the wrong group, or you have ideas that clash with the agreements of the society you live in. Either way, you are different enough that you get negative intentions from the people around you.

This can happen in a family when one of the family members goes off to college or into the service and adopts a new way of life that clashes with family values. It happens whenever a family member joins a group with agreements that differ from established family customs.
The person exposed to the new way of life has to decide whether to adopt the new customs and leave the family or to conform to established family customs and forgo any departures from what is accepted at home. Trying to remain at home with non-family viewpoints and beliefs can create an untenable living situation for all concerned.

If the family accepts the person’s new viewpoints and beliefs, as sometimes happens when a person announces they are now a different gender or religion, the family stays together under new agreements and survives as a family unit.

If the parties involved can grant each other beingness and live with their new differences, the family evolves into a different kind of group. Caring communication enables groups facing these changes to survive as a unit or to survive as separate units with amicable relationships. Both solutions have been reached by groups experiencing unexpected changes if the parties continue to communicate in a caring and respectful way.

If the original family or group is not amenable to change, the sanest solution for those adopting new customs or ideas is to depart as politely as possible and establish themselves as independent entities. Change is inevitable, and handling it responsibly is the best solution for maintaining personal integrity. Then you will never have to worry about being careful of what you say or do.

We will be discussing this and other matters in tomorrow’s SRT workshop at 12 noon EST on Zoom. Send me an email at srtcounseling@gmail and ask for a link to the Zoom session.

SRT WORKSHOP 8-10-25 GETTING YOUR LIFE BACK ON TRACK

There once was a time when your life offered fun and excitement, and now you are determined to work on keeping things on an even keel. Life is not grim yet, but it is no longer fun and exciting, more like being scolded for everything you do.

If you would like to experience acknowledgment for your efforts and admiration instead of indifference, you need to take a closer look at your environment and see what is actually occurring.

You have gone into agreement with some situations that have taken the joy out of your life, and you did it for the best of reasons, or so you thought. You have compromised your integrity, and you did it for what seemed like the best of reasons. You have taken on a job or entered into a relationship that is slowly sucking the life out of you, and you don’t see any easy way out of your current situation.

If someone were to point out that you are being suppressed, you might agree, but you would probably say, “Only by myself!” and it would be totally true. The unfortunate fact that we are immortal beings makes it possible for us to make the same mistakes over and over again until we are jolted into awareness by someone who knows what is happening and how to stop it.

You are being suppressed, and your life force is being diminished every day you are exposed to the source of your suppression. You may not even recognize that you are holding back from this person, but I can guarantee that you are not comfortable around this person. Join our SRT workshop on Zoom this Sunday and learn the different ways you can recover from this situation and get your life back on track for happiness and self-respect.

If you find you need more help than you get from the workshop, you can work with me in private sessions to handle your situation.

Our workshop will be hosted on Zoom on Sunday at 12 noon EST using the usual link for joining SRT Workshop sessions. If you don’t have the link, send me an email at srtcounseling@gmail.com and let me know of your interest in participating.
