Every Lifetime Is A New Beginning

Whether you believe it or not, you are a spiritual being having a human existence. Spirits are immortal, but living bodies have a finite lifespan. If you are reading this, you are having a human experience. You pick up a new body, usually at birth, and you dedicate yourself to being this body. Normally, you forget everything about your past lives when you pick up the new body. You give yourself a fresh start in this way.

Otherwise, you would spend a childhood filled with nightmares of past lives and past disasters. Even so, when you encounter things that remind you of past lives you may be haunted with images and impressions that have a great effect on you.

Some children bring useful memories from earlier lives and we call these fortunate few prodigies. Some bring horrifying memories from earlier lives and these children grow up to become monsters.

When you handle these memories completely with Spiritual Rescue Technology (SRT), you close the books on past mistakes. Spiritual Rescue Technology allows us to communicate with spirits and free them from any horrifying incidents they are still stuck in.

Death by sickness and old age is usually not so traumatic that affects the next lifetime. It takes an incident with betrayal or overwhelming force to affect a person in his or her following lifetimes. The effects can be subtle, like a certain shyness that will not lift, or the effect can be noticeable like stuttering or uncontrollable terror in the face of seemingly normal events. The effects of incidents from previous lives can completely control a person’s behavior and turn a normal-appearing individual into a terrifying and murderous killer upon being exposed to a triggering influence.

There are children who are born hating their mothers or fathers and the reasons are mystifying until you realize that such urges toward revenge come from prior experiences with the parent in question. These situations, as with many other mystifying conditions can be handled by addressing the person’s past life experiences in the right way.

It is a huge relief to the troubled person and to their loved ones when the person is no longer dramatizing some long ago reason for revenge. It does not take a long and involved ritual to get to the seat of the problem. SRT processes use conversational techniques to help the person discover the true source of any upset, past or present, and bring matters to a peaceful resolution for all concerned.

If you just remember that each lifetime is a new beginning, you give a person a fresh start when you handle the incomplete cycles of their past.

Challenges To Overcome

In a recent post, I wrote my honest opinion of the current state of the union and that is the ship of state is foundering.

I did not mean that to suggest that all is lost for us in the US of A, just that we need to view our government situation in a new and different way.

As a first step, we need to find credible sources of news. Our current crop of news lizards is firmly wedded to the backside of one party or another and everything written supports a party line.

We need to find new news outlets and use them while they are still sources of news rather than opinion. Once they start gushing opinions, they become partisan, and it’s difficult to get a balanced point of view.

Our challenge is to churn through many different sources of information until we find those that we can evaluate as useful, or entertaining, or simply so biased that we use them to test theories. By that, I mean that posting something you are in doubt about on Facebook or Twitter and seeing if it gets banned will tell you that you have a piece of real news that is so true it needs to be banned.

The next challenge is to remain sane, which is not an easy action. If reading the news is upsetting you, you are doing it wrong! Get yourself into a calm state and see if you can duplicate the viewpoint of the writer. Try to be the person and imagine what is going on in his mind. When you truly understand a person, you will not hate him. More likely, you will pity him or her or it and will reach a more complete understanding of where they are coming from.

Once you can truly understand someone, you can take steps to avoid being the effect of that person. Otherwise, just thinking about the person will push your buttons and you will lose your ability to be in charge of the situation.

In times like these, it is every person’s job to remain sane because then you will be part of the solution and not part of the problem.

If we are to avoid a smoking ruin of a country, we need all of us to remain sane.

Our Ship of State Is Foundering

The Ship of State is a famous and oft-cited metaphor put forth by Plato in Book VI of the Republic. It likens the governance of a city-state to the command of a naval vessel and ultimately argues that the only men fit to be captain of this ship are philosopher kings, benevolent men with absolute power who have access to the Form of the Good.

The modern definition of Ship of State: the affairs of a state symbolized as a ship on a course

Foundering: to come to grief

Here are some graphic images that illustrate that appearances are no guarantee of future success. Just like the Titanic, our US ship of state has some serious problems that are being ignored. The Titanic was sent to sea with some serious omissions, plenty of deck chairs, and not enough lifeboats. We have an administration full of people with criminal intentions and backgrounds to match. Just like the Titanic, our new administration is heading out with no attention on the warnings it is receiving.

Developing Trust With Others – Part Four

One of the most important factors in creating trust is your state of mind. Having peace of mind makes you someone others can easily trust.

Maintaining your peace of mind is the quickest way to build a relationship, and when you can help another being feel peaceful, this establishes a state of trust between you. Using a trust-based technique creates a peaceful environment where you and the other person or being are in a state of being fully aware in the present moment. The aim of your relationship is not establishing control but establishing trust.

Peace of mind is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. This ability to live in the present moment is something we all can exhibit at times, and it’s more readily available to us when we practice on a daily basis.

This state of mind is described in many different ways by those who have been trained in it. Some of these terms may be familiar to you: Living in the present moment, in present time, having your TRs in, present moment meditation, and mindfulness. I would like to use the term “peace of mind” from here on out because this requires no further translation.

When you can reliably achieve peace of mind, you will be able to begin developing trust between yourself and any person or animal. Attempting to develop a trust relationship without first achieving peace of mind is a waste of time.

Since peace of mind is absolutely essential in developing a trust-based relationship, let’s review the most common way to achieve this state. This is a mind-body exercise in which you put your body in a relaxed state and your attention on the present moment. By putting attention on the present moment, I mean that you focus on the sensations your body is experiencing, what you are touching, what you are looking at, and what you are hearing right now. If a stray thought or realization comes up, you just acknowledge it and continue your exercise. Practice this exercise, starting with short efforts of five minutes or so until you can easily do it for a half-hour without strain. Once you develop the ability to achieve this peaceful state, you will be able to return to it in moments from whatever state you are in. You can do this by yourself or with a partner, and you will find that your peace of mind will improve your ability to handle life. People who consistently operate with peace of mind find that they accomplish things with a degree of serenity and pure enjoyment that makes life a joy.

When you achieve peace of mind, you are aware of the moments when you are able to achieve results with almost no effort, and you also become aware of the presence of random thoughts and ideas that interrupt your efforts to get things done. When you have peace of mind, you are able to discard or use these random thoughts to your advantage. If your mind is awhirl with random thoughts, you are under the control of other beings, and your responses to life will be controlled by these beings. If you have ever responded angrily to someone talking about politics, you have experienced the reaction of your spiritual companions to something that triggers them. Our likes and dislikes don’t have to control us, but when we do not have peace of mind, our responses are automatic and do not reflect well on us. When you have peace of mind, you are in charge of your life. When you are in charge of your life, you can begin to develop trust-based relationships with others.

In part 5 of this series, we will discuss what we can do to create a feeling of trust in another person or animal.
