Making Ripples

Several incidents today have led me to think this could be true. I handled a persistent allergic reaction in a client by communicating with the spirit who was causing it. A search on the internet brought up reports on people treating allergies with spiritual counseling and hypnosis which further leads me to believe this is an area we can profitably investigate.

And finally, I did a solo session to find a spiritual reason for my persistent nasal congestion and post-nasal drip and made my nose run in the process! As soon as I reached out for the source of my nasal congestion, my congestion melted and my nose started running. I was so surprised that it broke my concentration and I broke into laughter.

Allergies can range from persistent irritating symptoms to instant shocking threats to life. I have experienced both ends of the spectrum and feel that this is an area where some serious spiritual research could pay huge dividends. I would like some of you who have experienced allergic symptoms to see if you can identify spiritual sources for your allergies. If you can identify a spiritual source and it still affects you, let me know and I will give you free sessions to see exactly what is going on and handle any spirits involved in causing it.

One of the disadvantages of wearing a human body is that our concerns tend to be focused on keeping it fed and warm and securing safe shelter for it. There is a wonderful payoff in terms of the sensations we derive from having a human experience, but will you be happy doing that forever in one identity after another with no memory of all your past incarnations?

If your immortality is separated into separate lifetime compartments, each with its own memories and separate from the rest, then why not spend an occasional lifetime as a prize boxer, or as a marmot roaming in the wild? You could even be more adventurous and enjoy the life of a dolphin or an eagle and enjoy the freedom of the sea or the skies.

Contrary to your fondest beliefs, if you are reading this, you are a spirit having a human experience and you have had many more of these than you can ever imagine. For a number of reasons, we choose to forget previous lifetimes and we play the game of being alive from a helpless birth to helpless senescence with a brief interval of productive creativity in between. Wouldn’t life be richer and more productive if we had access to our earlier lessons in life? Immortality gives us access to unbelievable amounts of experience, good and bad, and it seems that retaining access to this wealth would make us wiser and more capable.

Of course, this would require access to our spiritual capabilities which we seem to have stifled in our quest for human experience. Most of us cannot use telepathy to any great extent, nor any of the other spiritual capabilities which we abandoned in our effort to be human. In fact, we seem to have deliberately shut down any memory of being immortal with the help of organizations like the Catholic Church which banned any discussion of reincarnation in the Council of Nicea in 313 AD.

Perhaps the memories of past sins and other losses were easier to suppress if one started anew with each new body and this was considered an advantage even if it meant starting over and over again. If one considers life as a human a game, this was equivalent to wiping the board clean before starting a new game with a known starting point.

However, there are always those who manage to bend the rules in any game and some humans manage to start a new life with memories and skills from previous lives. We call them prodigies and they usually manage to play the game of life with extraordinary skill. What if we could all remember the best parts of earlier existences? How might that impact our civilization here on earth and elsewhere?

Those of us who have managed to remember bits and pieces of earlier lifetimes, clearly remember spaceships and galactic civilizations and all of the glories and mistakes that were part of those earlier times. How many more times do we have to build a civilization from primitive conditions and bare existence to spaceships and space travel again?

Perhaps the first steps are to recognize our spiritual nature and recover our natural spiritual abilities again. This will give us access to our spiritual histories and to the wealth of data we have carefully forgotten in our efforts to be human. Recognizing our immortality and taking responsibility for our histories will put us on a different path for the future. We will still be able to be human and enjoy picnics and family time but we will also be able to take a longer view of where we are heading and what we want to do for the next 10,000 years or so.

Everything in the material world has been created by spirits. If we recover our spiritual abilities, we should be able to create a saner and happier existence for all life. The uncoordinated activities of spirits have created the chaotic material universe we experience today. Regaining our abilities to create on a grander scale might give us a happier future existence, providing we learn from the mistakes of the past.

We already have immortality, now we have to make use of it to change the game of life for the better.
