It troubles me when people I have counseled will quietly suffer from some long term physical illness or painful condition without taking action to improve it through spiritual counseling. They will go to a doctor and undergo all sorts of mechanical alterations and surgery but for some reason will not consider that your body is a spiritual/mechanical contraption.
Any living meat machine has a spiritual component and if you do not address the spiritual needs of your body you are missing out on the easiest way to restore its health.
Your relationship to your body is a spiritual matter. If you are unhappy with the state of your body, that hinders the healing process.
Handling spiritual upsets produces a healthier body and leaves you in a much better frame of mind to handle life.
