An Interesting Discovery About Fixed Ideas

Have you ever encountered someone who uses nonsensical sayings to explain their approach to life?

If you ask them to explain their use of the saying, they will just say that it is so obvious that everybody knows that. Getting someone to recognize a fixed idea and its origin is a real challenge, because the person did not originate the idea. It came from and still comes from one of the person’s spiritual companions.

In a session today, a client expressed a certainty that if he wants to enjoy something, he will have to pay for it later with suffering. He was totally certain of this, but could not remember where he had first heard it.

It took an hour of intensive SRT sessions to discover that he had picked this wisdom up from a spirit and it was based upon an experience that the spirit had endured many eons ago. The spirit would use this saying to fend off any changes or life improvements the person wanted to make.

While seeking the source of this fixed idea, the client put forth other fixed ideas and it was fascinating to observe how these other ideas were structured to reinforce each other and prevent examination of the source of the ideas or the rationality of the idea expressed.

It appears, at this point, as though the information was received in a moment of pain and unconsciousness, and became a command which controlled the spirit’s behavior from that point on in time. These moments of pain and unconsciousness are called engrams and they result in a being accepting information that it must follow and cannot evaluate. Only when the engram is spotted and removed can the spirit examine the reality of what has been commanded in the engram.

In this case, the person in session was being controlled by a spirit’s engrammic command. The person had no engrams connected with pain being the reward for enjoyment, it was one of his spiritual companions. What this means is that the people you are trying to help may have spirits with engrammic commands that will nullify your attempts to help them.

When you get resistance to perfectly reasonable suggestions, be prepared to look for a spiritual reason for the objection. The person voicing the objection may have no rational explanation for their resistance.

Like many other actions that do not seem to make sense, the source will be found to be a spirit who is acting out of an engrammic command. Finding and handling the engram with SRT processes will restore sanity to the actions and to the actors.
