We see artificial intelligence being used in more places every day. How long before we see AI pets replacing real pets for inhabitants in large cities? They can carry packages, provide personal security, use GPS services for directions, and you do not have to pick up their poop.
My time frame is probably quite far off as I am sure some designer has one of these in his shop already.
Here is just one vision of our AI pet future.
I looked on the internet and there are already robot dogs for you and for your children, so you can probably advance those future dates to late 2025 and there will probably be a hovercraft version your kids can ride on.
