The first problem is that many of you have forgotten you are immortal beings and your attention has become stuck on incomplete cycles that you never finished. Those of you who remember some of your past lives may have some insight into the promises you have made that are now broken, but other than a vague sense of disquiet, you probably have no idea how to make things right again. We have a lot of past-life memories that are not helpful for this lifetime.
When we get caught up in the idea of being human, we forget all of the promises we made to ourselves and others in prior existences. The promises were made in good faith, but we used terms like forever and always, thinking we only lived once.
The matter is complicated by the fact that we have not always been human, or even alien in humanoid form. Spirits come in all sizes and flavors, and it is evident that we degrade our abilities over time because of factors we haven’t fully understood. It doesn’t take too many recalls of past lives to spot times when we, and others, were capable of feats we can’t even consider today.
Unrestrained teleportation, creation of mass and energy, and freedom from agreement with others’ reality led to conflicting intentions and a resulting loss of freedom and ability. The effort to create effects without recognizing their impact on others invariably results in restrictions being placed on the creator’s abilities and even on their existence.
Whenever one joins a group, one needs to recognize the agreements the group subscribes to and honor them. Failure to do so invariably results in the group punishing and banishing the person, regardless of the benefit. People who heal others in miraculous ways or exhibit abilities that others do not have often suffer outrageous treatment like crucifixion or being burned alive. This kind of experience tends to remind a spirit to stay in line and not attempt to do things that are extraordinary.
