Reincarnation is a touchy subject, except for those of us who have observed it or are enjoying it.
Since we are immortal spirits, the only question about our return to the hurly-burly of life is whether we do it knowingly or unknowingly. A great many spirits choose to erase all memories of the past and return as a new player with no ties to their past deeds and misdeeds. A small number choose to return with the memories and skills of their most recent past life and choose to exhibit their talents as small children to the amazement and entertainment of their families and the internet. Alma Deutscher is one of the more visible of the recent music prodigies, but she is only one of many listed here on Wikipedia.
Many spirits return as infants, but a significant number return as new dominant personalities in older hosts. L Ron Hubbard has returned in the body of Justin Alan Craig and calls himself Lafayette Hubbard. In my correspondence with Lafayette, I could see definite mannerisms from his earlier incarnation. Some of my old Scientology friends are in good communication with Lafayette and continue to work with him even though he is currently in prison.
My daughter, Michelle, died in an accident many years ago and turned up as the dominant personality of a woman I met when I was studying Scientology. This was a surprise to both of us as her reincarnation was unknowing and she had no idea who she had been at first. All we knew at first was that we had known each other before and it was several years before her earlier identity was revealed.
We worked together setting up a Dianetics Center in Manhattan Beach, CA and she was instrumental in recruiting personnel for mission staff. When her estranged husband did an Exorcism on the woman, using processes from the Scientology OT Levels. Michelle was separated from the woman and went elsewhere. The woman returned to her former personality and returned to her husband with no memory of what had occurred.
Some years after leaving Scientology, I developed Spiritual Rescue Technology (SRT) and learned how to communicate with spirits and free them from compulsions and fixed ideas. Once I learned to communicate with spirits and could train others to do so also, I was able to observe the full extent of spiritual interactions with regular human beings. It became very real that there are no “regular” human beings with one spirit and mind running a body.
Every one of us, myself included, is a cluster of beings working as a team to operate a body. Many of the team have been together for many millennia with additional spirits joining the team from time to time under varied circumstances. Accidents and injuries introduce new spirits to the group running the body. Operations and even hospital visits can result in additional spirits joining the group. Most of the additional spirits are passengers or interested observers, but if the person is unconscious for enough time, the new spirits can take control of the body and become the dominant part of the personality.
The body I am currently running had a serious accident during the summer of 1940 and spent 24 hours unconscious. During that time, I came on board and changed the boy’s personality from unquestioning obedience to a determined questioner of anything that seemed unreasonable. This was quite hard on my mother who did not expect to be questioned about her orders. It almost caused her to have a nervous breakdown and my father said, in an amused way, “You never used to ask questions like this!” I knew that was true, but I had no answer for the change in my behavior as it seemed quite natural for me. In my case, reincarnation was unknowing. Others could see that my personality had changed, but I did not realize what happened until many years later in a session.
Our observations during SRT counseling sessions confirm that personalities are composed of multiple spirits with one spirit acting as pilot and others acting as copilots who jump in and perform activities that they choose as their specialty. Most of you have copilots who take over during routine tasks like dressing yourself, tying your shoes, and driving your car on known routes. Others of you have beings with strong opinions who jump in and take over conversations when they touch upon politics, religion, or other matters of intense belief.
We have discovered that some ideas you have strong opinions about are not actually your ideas. The spiritual beings who accompany you through life have all sorts of ideas and prejudices from earlier lives and they voice them when you happen on a topic that they are passionate about. If you consider yourself a teacher with a crowd of unruly spirit teenagers injecting their opinions into your thoughts, you are not too far off from the reality of your life.
All you have to do to verify this is to reach for a new idea and see how many negative thoughts pop up instantly. You will have spirits sending you new ideas to reinforce what you are trying to create, and you will have spirits sending out negative thoughts to get you to stop and forget what you are doing. You may have noticed that there are times when you are distracted and unable to focus on what you need to do. Reach out for these sources of distraction and you will soon realize these distractions are coming from other beings and are not from you.
You are an immortal being and you are surrounded by other immortal beings. If you learn to communicate with them in a caring way, you will be able to harness the knowledge these other beings have. You will be able to create new designs and stories with ease and you will never run out of ideas.
