I watched, spellbound, at a performance that brought tears to my eyes again and again. The intensity and the power that Alma Deutscher conjures up has to be seen to be believed.
Her version of the Cinderella story stands on its own with a sweep of emotions ranging from calculated cruelty to tender love ballads to moments of delightful mischief.
Alma wrote this when she was 11 years old. I cannot wait to see her future performances.
