Time for a Sanity Check

World-3I just ran across a “political map” entitled “The World According to the United States of America.”

If you are an American, I think this map might serve as an interesting test of how secure you are in your beliefs and in your self-esteem. If you are a citizen of another country, this map may show something else entirely.

The first day is the hardest…

It’s cold and rainy today and the weather report doesn’t look so good.

There is a certain attraction to the idea of holing up inside where it is warm and dry and watching DVDs I haven’t seen yet, but my ideal scene writeup is already kicking up some activity.

That is one of the side benefits (or curses) of making predictions that work. They often start immediately.

I’m still not organized yet, but…

I’m making progress, and this is definitely one of those cases where the journey is more significant than the destination. While organizing my office yesterday, I had this long overdue realization:

Cleaning my desk is like trying to keep an ocean beach clean and tidy. It only works at low tide.
